I had a check with the midwife on Friday. Everything still looks good with the baby. I have dropped even more. I don't know how much lower I can get before this baby comes! But I have been having waves of contractions for the last couple weeks which we are all confident are working. Baby's heart rate is good and the head is down and locked in now, which means s/he is very low and ready to come. We are really hoping for this Tuesday as our midwife is in the hospital that day. It's also a full moon that day, so you never know!
We have now had our refresher childbirth class, met with our doula, installed the car seat and set up the crib and swing. We are ready for this baby to come. We are all super excited to meet this new little one. And Mason can't wait to play with all his or her stuff! He is already trying to crawl in the baby's crib and swing. Well, that is it for now.
