Olympic Frenzy

I don't know about you but we have gotten very caught up in the Olympics this year. I don't think that we would call ourselves overly patriotic people but right now we are all about the red, white and blue! We stayed up Friday night to watch ALL the teams march into the stadium after the amazing opening ceremonies. Even Mason got excited by all the fireworks (or fireworkins as he calls them), drums and lights. It was the most amazing show I have ever seen. Even Dave, who admittedly usually skips the opening ceremonies and opts for the events only, immensely enjoyed the opening show. No doubt China is trying to win the world over with their impressive artistic displays and hospitality. What this Olympic showing will do for Beijing and China's future is yet to be seen. But for now, we are enjoying the show and rooting for our teams! GO U.S.A.
